Why A Website
FusilierFamily.com will provide a permanent presence for the Fusilier family on the Internet. It will help to promote the 2018 Reunion, serving as a beacon and messenger to family members in Texas, Louisiana, and throughout the United States. Initially, it will provide the latest 2018 Family Reunion registration and related information for those planning to attend. Later, following the Reunion the site a permanent presence to enhance the collection and sharing of family history, and other information, including family stories and current news, plus an evolving and living family tree, and a contact directory, is envisioned. If this vision is realized, a lasting legacy will be created for our children, grandchildren, and future generations. Everyone will have greater insights into the Fusilier family history and a clearer understanding of how we are related to one another. Or, as quoted from an unknown author, "How will our children know who they are if they do not know where they came from."

The descendants of Marcelle and Sophie Fusilier and Marcel and Louise and Carmelite Fusilier, whose ancestral home is the La Cote community in Maurice and Broussard Cove areas in Vermillion Parrish, Louisiana.
All descendants of Marcelle Fusilier, Born 1840; and Sophie Fusilier, Born 1842, Known children born 1860 to 1884 are: Marcel Fusilier, Eliza Fusilier, Albert Fusilier, Joseph Fusilier, Victor Fusilier, Idea Fusilier, Velina Fusilier, Ozephere Fusilier, and Cordelia Fusilier.
